At Michael Lee, we know our cheese. Every part of the artisan cheese making process carries equal importance so we take the time to understand the entire journey of each of our cheeses – from the grass the cattle are bred on, right through to the maturation.
Having previously worked for leading supermarkets owned his own award-winning delicatessen in Beverley and run his own market stalls in Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge and Holmfirth, Michael Lee can draw on over 30 years of experience in the sourcing and supply of fine gourmet cheeses.
His drive to achieve ever-higher standards of quality and customer service has also resulted in him being awarded an entry in 2009 who’s who of Britain’s business elite, putting the cheese champion in the top 1% of UK directors.
Known as the cheese champion to many of his clients, Yorkshire-born Michael Lee has built strong relationships with trade customers looking for expert advice on gourmet cheese selection, cheeseboard recommendations and retail advice.
